Summary

Dr. Kaderali returned home to Vancouver and joined the neurosurgical staff at Royal Columbian Hospital in October 2021. Prior to this he practiced as an Assistant Professor within the Sections of Neurosurgery & Neuroradiology at the Health Sciences Centre, University of Manitoba from November 2014.

He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine and entered the Neurosurgery Training program at the University of Toronto in 2005. He completed his certification examination in neurosurgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2011.

Following residency, he completed a 2-year clinical fellowship in Endovascular/Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at Toronto Western and St. Michael’s Hospitals.

He was recently appointed as the Neurosciences Network Regional Physician Lead for Neurosurgery in the Fraser Health Authority (FHA).

Research Interests

Over the course of his training, he completed a Masters of Public Health at Harvard University, graduating in 2010.

His thesis and research work focuses on the epidemiology, risk factors, clinical tool, protocol and registry development in the treatment and recurrence of intracranial aneurysms and cerebrovascular disease.
