Summary
Dr. Ash Singhal is a Pediatric Neurosurgeon at British Columbia Children’s Hospital. He is an Associate Professor (Clinical) of Surgery at the University of British Columbia. His clinical research interests include Pediatric Trauma, Pediatric Neuro-oncology, and Pediatric Epilepsy.
After completing an undergraduate degree at Queen’s University and Medical School at the University of Alberta, Dr. Singhal completed his Neurosurgical Residency at the University of Toronto. After a Pediatric Neurosurgery Clinical Fellowship at BC Children’s Hospital, he joined the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery in 2005
Dr. Singhal served as the Director of Pediatric Trauma at BCCH/PHSA for 12 years, and served as a Chief Examiner for the Royal College for 10 years. He has held many leadership positions in national and international organizations.
Dr. Singhal is the Head of the Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery, and the Program Director for the UBC Neurosurgery Residency Program as well as the BCCH Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship Program.
