There are two offices which provide assistance to those experiencing intimidation or harassment:
- For staff – the UBC Equity Office
- For faculty and learners – the Office of the Associate Dean, Equity.
Both offices work to prevent discrimination and harassment in the workplace and learning environment. We believe that individuals need to be able to discuss their concerns and to seek advice and assistance in a safe and private environment.

UBC office of the Ombudsperson for students
For assistance identifying and explaining relevant UBC policies, provide guidance and make effective referrals, empower students to deal with concerns, and help facilitate discussions and channels to seek resolution, and listen to provide perspective in any issues that may come up.
